Three PCB Manufacturing Specialists founded Precision Manufacturing Solutions Ltd in May of 2007 with a vision of supporting low volume electronics assembly through tailoring solutions which met the requirements of each customer. With an accumulated 30 years of progressive experience in electronic manufacturing, the founders believed they could provide a positive contribution to the industry.

In July of 2008 PMS purchased its first automated Surface Mount line and moved from the converted double garage to a 2,300 sq ft factory in Wairau Valley. Late in 2010 either the factory was shrinking or PMS had grown and the decision was made to move into the present 6,800 sq ft factory. This was quickly filled with a second SMT line, a lead free wave solder assembly line and six product assembly lines. 

With a strong background in Process Engineering, Nathanial Fairweather (Co-founder & Managing Director) is always looking for a lower cost but higher quality outcome for his clients and has established a trusted advisor relationship with many of his customers by adding value to their designs through his advice.
